Wild Roses
10 x 8
Oil on Canvas
Sally Rosenbaum’s contemporary California impressionist paintings are intended to bring to life the sun-washed peace of a garden in spring; a place where the subjects seem to have all the time in the world to soak up the sun, arrange flowers, share poetry, write love letters, chat with a child, or simply enjoy solitude.
She holds a B.A. in fine art from UC Berkeley, has several teaching credentials and has done graduate work in the fields of sculpture, education, and painting. She has studied with Elmer Bischoff, David Simpson, Peter Voulkos, Earl Loran, and Don Hatfield.
