Have you ever walked the beach on a cold winter’s day and felt the mist of the ocean on your skin? The smell of sand and seaweed and the salt of the ocean flood your senses. The steely grey sky is a stark contrast to the blue, grey of the water. The more you walk, the more your heartbeat synchronizes to the ebb and flow of the tide. Suddenly whatever burdens you brought with you seem to dissipate. The ocean and sand are healing. You feel refreshed, more alive.
